  • Tech Time Tuesday (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM) @ Southborough Library Teen Room: Need help with tech? Library staff and teenage volunteers will go out of their way to help you. Bring questions about eBooks and eBooks. This is a downside event; no registration required. Sessions are limited to 1 hour maximum.

  • More than buzz! (7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) @ St. Mark’s School, Taft Hall: The public is invited to a presentation on restoring friendly habitats for native “at-risk” pollinators and simple ways to help. Dr Robert J. Gegear’s presentation from UMASS Dartmouth is sponsored by the Open Space Preservation Commission and Southborough Rotary. It will include information on how Southborough and other Massachusetts communities have used its research-based list of native plants to support pollinator systems of native plants at risk.   • Noise Regulation Forum (7:30 p.m.) @ zoom: The committee tasked with drafting a draft noise regulation for Southborough is seeking public input as part of the process. To share your thoughts on noise issues and potential regulations, attend their public hearing this week. (Click here for the agenda.)

  • Fill a cruiser (1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.) @ in front of the Public Safety Building, 32 Cordaville Rd: The Southborough Police Department will be collecting non-perishable food (and other items) for the Southborough Food Pantry in support of members of the community in need.   • Reading to a dog (11h00-12h00) @ Southborough Library Lawn: Children preferably ages 5 and over with some reading ability will read to a certified therapy dog. Please register in the children’s room for a 15-minute time slot.

  • AVM Messiah Sing (3:30 p.m.) @ First Church, Marlborough: The regional choir of the Assabet Valley Mastersingers (including members of Southborough) will perform the Christmas portion of Handel’s oratorio and the “Hallelujah Chorus” with the participation of the audience and the accompaniment of an organ.
