At the post AEW All Out 2022 media scrimmage event, CM Punk didn’t hold back by shooting Colt Cabana, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Adam Page. These comments led to a backstage altercation between all parties in which Ace Steel bit Kenny Omega’s arm and also threw a chair at Nick Jackson who punched him in the eye.

As a result, all members involved in the altercation were suspended indefinitely and also stripped of their respective titles.

This prompted an investigation into the altercation. Talk to VarietyTony Khan, when asked about the situation, responded by saying he could not comment on it as the investigation was ongoing.

Later in the interview, Tony Khan talked about how he gained confidence towards the end of AEW Dynamite’s first year.

“That’s when I started saying, ‘You know, a lot of those setbacks were completely preventable. And there were things I didn’t even want to do in the first place. So I just said that in the future, I will only do ideas that I like. …As I gained experience in wrestling, I started gaining confidence.

It looks like we’ll have to wait to see if there are any serious repercussions for those involved in the incident. If anything, it certainly got a lot of people talking.
